"Wish you were here — I saved you the window seat."
From Valentina
I picked figs this morning. There were too many for one person.
The sun is almost gone. I wish you could see this.
I opened the good one. It's too special not to.

Her story
I was raised on a vineyard above Ravello. My nonnas taught me that the best things take time — wine, bread, people worth knowing. I learned young that slowness is not laziness. It is attention.
I studied enology in Bologna, came home, and realised I'd never really left. The terrace at golden hour still makes me stop whatever I'm doing. Some things don't need to be more complicated than that.
Her world
The vineyard at first light.
Lunch stretched into evening, as it should.
Terracotta and the sea below.
The bottle my father opened for the harvest.
I grew up on a vineyard above the sea. I cook the way my grandmother taught me and I dance badly. I will text you about the light at six.

She believes
"Let the wine breathe. Let the conversation, too."
"Set the table as if they might not leave."
"Beauty is not a luxury. It is attention, paid."
She's already thinking about you.
